Course Learning Outcomes

1. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of motor control and learning
Students will describe and explain key theories, concepts, and mechanisms underlying how people control and learn motor skills, including physiological, psychological, and behavioral perspectives.
2. Apply motor control and learning principles to real-world contexts
Students will use theoretical and empirical concepts to analyze and address practical problems in movement, performance, and skill acquisition across sport, rehabilitation, and everyday activities.
3. Communicate effectively about motor control and learning
Students will articulate concepts clearly and professionally through written reflections, discussions, and presentations, demonstrating the ability to connect course material to personal and professional experiences.
