Course Learning Outcomes
1. Apply appropriate measurement and statistical methods, including descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and standardized scores, to analyze and interpret kinesiology assessment data.
2. Demonstrate accurate use of assessment terminology and foundational computer skills necessary for data management, statistical analysis, and reporting.
3. Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of assessment tools, including considerations of validity, reliability, sensitivity, and the use of norm-referenced and criterion-referenced tests.
4. Select and apply appropriate measurement tools for kinesiology-related research and assessment purposes, ensuring accurate and ethical data collection.
5. Interpret and communicate assessment results using appropriate statistical conventions and terminology in written and graphical formats commonly used in kinesiology.
