Acquire knowledge and skill in the principles and graphic conventions of grading, and demonstrate knowledge and skill in practical exercises of grading plan preparation;

Acquire knowledge and skill in the computation of earthwork volumes and demonstrate their
proficiency by successfully completing practical earthwork computation exercises, while demonstrating proficiency recording calculations on a computer spreadsheet students design for that purpose;

Acquire basic knowledge in hydraulics, hydrology, drainage design, and the analysis of surface hydraulics and demonstrate that knowledge by successfully completing studio exercises in drainage design and analysis;

Acquire understanding of the principles and applications of the current low-impact development and green infrastructure design strategies in regard to stormwater management practices.

Acquire basic knowledge in horizontal and vertical pedestrian and vehicular infrastructure alignment and demonstrate knowledge in practical exercise of circulation alignment plan preparation
