Course Learning Outcomes
1. Understand the use of studio culture as a tool to learn the creative design process.
2. Understand the process of site inventory, site analysis, program development, and synthesis in relation to the design process.
3. Understand the effects of behavioral actions on the design process
4. Understand the effects of landscape processes on the design process
5. Identify the information required to perform a site analysis
6. Collect field data, synthesize, and produce thematic maps.
7. Analyze site data (both environmental and behavioral) to understand site relationships and processes with respect to the design
program and criteria
8. Competently utilize standard site analysis tools and techniques.
9. Effectively communicate and work in teams to produce and present professional-quality results.
10. Acquire basic knowledge in horizontal and vertical pedestrian and vehicular infrastructure alignment and demonstrate knowledge in practical exercise of circulation alignment plan preparation
