Course Learning Outcomes
This course introduces students to:
Principles and practices of planting design within the context of landscape architecture, emphasizing the integration of aesthetic, ecological, and functional goals.
Students will learn to select and arrange plant species based on form, texture, color, seasonal interest, environmental conditions, and site-specific requirements.
Students will develop foundational skills in planting design composition, spatial organization, and the use of plant material to shape outdoor spaces.
