Course Learning Outcomes

1. Identify and explain the major natural and anthropogenic causes of climate change and their observable impacts on human health, biodiversity, and the environment.
2. Analyze and interpret scientific data, maps, and research to evaluate the social, economic, and political consequences of climate change across diverse communities.
3. Apply knowledge of climate change impacts to develop evidence-based discussions and propose practical adaptation or mitigation strategies that promote sustainability and resilience.
4. Communicate effectively about climate change using clear, evidence-supported arguments tailored to different audiences and perspectives.
