Course Learning Outcomes

1. Students will be able to define neurodiversity and describe its impacts on people at the individual level as well as society at large.
2. Students will be able to differentiate between a deficit model of disability and a diversity model of disability.
3. Students will identify methods that support the inclusion of neurodiverse people in their day-to-day lives, as well as what they can look like as students complete college and enter the workforce.
4. Students will be able to describe and understand the social impacts and benefits of embracing individual neurodiversity.
