Course Learning Outcomes
Describe the basic environmental principles that explain human behavior, including: Positive and Negative Reinforcement, Positive and Negative Punishment, Behavioral Antecedents, and Behavioral Extinction.
Describe and use stimulus preference assessments to determine potential positive reinforcers.
Describe and use systems for accurately describing and measuring student behavior in the classroom.
Use Microsoft Excel to graph student behavior in the classroom.
Describe and use behavior analytic teaching procedures, including: Shaping, Chaining, Behavioral Skills Training, Prompting, Conditioned Reinforcement, Self-Management Techniques, and Strategies for Promoting Generalization and Maintenance of behavior.
