Course Learning Outcomes

1. Students will use effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving processes to engage families, general educators, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and other professionals in planning, implementing, and evaluating supports for students with disabilities.
2. Students will accurately model and apply the AT consideration, referral, and assessment process.
3. Students will develop AT plans aligned with IEP goals, including selecting tools, defining implementation procedures, determining progress-monitoring methods, and specifying the responsibilities of team members.
4. Students will implement AT tools in simulated or real classroom settings and evaluate their impact on student access, engagement, participation, communication, or academic outcomes. Students will adjust tools, supports, or environments based on data and student responsiveness.
