Course Learning Outcomes
1. Recognize the various components of the cell through light microscopy and electron microscopy and be able to discuss the current fundamental concepts of cell structure and function.
2. Recognize and describe the cellular and extracellular composition of the basic tissues of the animal body and understand their functions and interrelationships.
3. Discuss how abnormalities in cell function and structure relate to malfunction of organs, tissues and disease presentation.
4. Correlate the microscopic structure with the function of the cells, tissues and organs of the animal body and logically consider the consequences of malfunction.
