Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Apply fundamental concepts from geography to understand historical and contemporary environment and development issues in Latin America.

  2. Analyze and critically evaluate ideas, arguments, and points of view on human-environment and social interactions in various Latin American countries, using course readings, films, discussions, and presented research as a foundation.

  3. Communicate more effectively in both written and oral forms.
