Course Learning Outcomes

1. Understand what are competitive intelligence, dis-intelligence, and the intelligence process used by businesses and other organizations.
2. Understand principles of competitiveness, including what are the difference(s) between strategy, business models, competences, capabilities, dynamic capabilities, and market orientation.
3. Develop improved ethical reasoning in the context of competitive intelligence and marketing toward the development of a clearer understanding of, and commitment to, the student's personal values, good business practices, and human flourishing.
4. Learn to improve critical thinking and problem-solving decisions in business in the context of competitive intelligence and marketing.
5. Gain practice in critical thinking (applying cognition and meta-cognition) applied to one's own personal decision-marking.
