Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Carry out supervised evaluations of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in an externship. 

  2. Select, design, and carry out supervised interventions that fit the needs of individuals with communication disorders in a medical setting in an externship. 

  3. Communicate and interact effectively with clients, families, professionals and significant others. 

  4. Complete documentation and reporting functions to support assessment and intervention.  

  5. Conduct clinical practices professionally and ethically.
