Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate introductory knowledge of basic human communication and swallowing processes, including the appropriate biological, neurological, acoustic, psychological, developmental, linguistic, and cultural bases.   

  2. Demonstrate introductory knowledge of communicative disorders resulting from cognitive, speech, language, and hearing impairments.  

  3. Demonstrate introductory knowledge of the foundations and scope of clinical practice in speech-language pathology and audiology.
