NURS 2010 - Transition to Associate Degree Nursing 2 credits
This course transitions to the roles of the Associate Degree nurse. Content includes self-study and nursing laboratory activities that enable the student to demonstrate competency in the following areas: nursing process, communication skills, pharmacodynamics, pharmacological math, selected nursing procedures, evidence-based practice, community-based nursing care, and the NANDA domains of Life Principles and Growth/Development. IV therapy introduced.
Prerequisite/Restriction: Acceptance into the Associate Degree Nursing program.
Corequisite: CHEM 1110 , CHEM 1115 , MATH 1030
