ADVS 2300 - Horse Health Care I

Covers horse health care, equipment use, determining lameness, body condition, intramuscular injections, and how to care for the healthy and ill/lame horse. Includes introduction to handling of young horses and daily horse care. Students attend course for 10 hours per week.
Prerequisite/Restriction: ADVS 2190 or permission of instructor.
