NURS 1240 - Practical Nursing Practice

1 credit

This course is designed to prepare the student for the role of the practical nurse. It includes information on preparing and studying for the NCLEX-PN exam, licensing requirements, applying for a job, issues and trends in practical nursing, professional organizations, and opportunities in nursing. 

Prerequisite/Restriction: NURS 1020 , NURS 1030 , NURS 1110 , BIOL 2320 , BIOL 2420 , PSY 1010 , FCHD 1500  

Corequisite: NURS 1120 , NURS 1130 , NURS 1220 , NURS 1230 , BIOL 2060
