About this Degree

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for persons who desire to engage in graduate studies that will help them improve their competencies as educators. The M.Ed. coursework degree (Professional/Plan C) program is the most pursued degree option and is available for students both at the Logan campus and at Statewide campuses.

This program does not necessarily lead to a recommendation for teaching licensure from USU. Licensure is obtained directly from the Utah State Board of Education.

Admission Requirements for this Program

Admission requirements include a GPA of 3.0 over the last 30 credits taken prior to the application, three letters of recommendation, official transcripts (not needed if degree is from USU) and a statement of purpose outlining your desire to pursue graduate studies.

Deadline for applications: March 1st, June 1st, and November 1st
