About this Degree

The Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for persons who desire to engage in graduate studies that will help them improve their competencies as educators. The MEd coursework degree (Professional/Plan C) program is the most pursued degree option and is available for students both at the Logan campus and at Statewide campuses. The basic elements of the MEd coursework option include completion of 30 credits in an approved program of study. All courses require a grade of C or better and students must maintain an overall GPA of 3. 0 or higher.

At the conclusion of the program, each student must complete/submit the following:

  • Exit interview

  • Exit survey

This program does not necessarily lead to a recommendation for teaching licensure from USU. Licensure is obtained directly from the Utah State Board of Education.
