Earn at least 9 credits from the following:
Earn at least 14 credits from the following:

NOTE:

  • A maximum of 3 credits of CS6250 are allowed.

  • A maximum of one course is allowed from the following list: CS5950, CS6950, or CS7950.

  • Additional credits of CS6970 are not allowed.

  • CS6990, CS7970 and CS7990 are not allowed.

  • No repeat courses are allowed.

  • At least 18 credits of CS 6000-level courses or above are required for graduation, excluding CS6250.

  • Up to 12 credits of graduate coursework at the 5000-level are allowed

Earn at least 6 credits from the following:

NOTE:

  • CS6970 - Enroll in 6 credits. Typically taken the last 1-2 semesters.

  • STAT6970 - Enroll in 6 credits.

Complete ALL of the following:

  • Form a supervisory committee.

  • Complete a graduate thesis proposal.

  • Prepare a graduate thesis based on original work.

  • Successfully defend and submit the thesis to the library.
