A minimum of 12 dissertation credits is required.
• Students should take 6 credits of committee-approved electives focused on their research to complete degree requirements.

Students must complete a total of 21 credits, combining Specialization - Core and Specialization - Electives.
NOTE:
*6000/7000 level courses offered from other USU Departments may be approved by student's advisor/committee.

course - Take Preliminary Preparation (1 credit), and Special Education (3 one-credit Journal Reading Group courses for a total of 3 credits)
Students may also take seminar credits in related disciplines (with committee approval), or take additional research training credits.
Earn at least 6 credits (2 courses) from the following or other relevant coursework in advanced statistics/research design:
