Completion requirement

The PhD degree beyond a Bachelor’s requires at least 72 credits:

Earn at least 18 credits from the following:

Additionally:

42 credits of 5000-7000 level coursework
Up to 18 credits can be taken outside of the ECE Department
Only 12 credits of 5000-level coursework may be taken

The PhD degree beyond a Master’s requires at least 42 credits:

Earn at least 12 credits from the following:

Additionally:

18 credits of 5000-7000 level coursework
Up to 9 credits can be taken outside of the ECE Department
Only 12 credits of 5000-level coursework may be taken
