  1. course - Course will be offered each fall to the second-year doctoral cohort.

  2. course - 12 credits required.

  3. course - 3 credits required.

Complete at least 2 of the following Courses:
Complete at least 4 of the following Courses:

May include any of the Family Relations and Human Development or Contemporary Issues and Advanced Methods and Statistics courses, or classes from other departments as approved by the Supervisory Committee

Complete at least 2 of the following Courses:

The School of Graduate Studies requires the following courses for teaching assistantships: Course credit does not count on the Program of Study toward degree requirements.

Complete the following Continuing Education courses:
  • CEUS 7901- Graduate Teaching Training I: FERPA, Title IX, and Best Practices in Assessment and Communication

  • CEUS 7902 - Graduate Teaching Training II: Ethics, Pedagogy, and Student Support

  • CEUS 7903 - Graduate Teaching Training III: Advanced Pedagogy, Policy, and Community Building
