Total Credits Required To Earn This Credential
Students should complete their remaining 6 credits by taking 3000- and 4000-level history courses for a total of 30 credits in the history teaching minor.
No more than 3 credits of course can be applied to the history teaching minor.
Note: This minor may only be completed in conjunction with the Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP). For licensure in the state of Utah, students must successfully pass a PRAXIS exam in the content area in addition to the coursework listed here. For information on licensure in other states, please contact the College of Education (cehs.usu.edu).
