Welding Technology - Technical Certificate

The student assessment plan focuses on applying welding safety practices at all times and effectively using measurement systems, written instructions, and technical drawings to complete welding projects. Students will demonstrate a range of welding techniques—including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW—to produce high-quality welds on different types of metals. They will also develop proficiency in using thermal cutting equipment to make precise cuts on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Students will learn to identify and select the correct welding and cutting processes for specific applications.
