A Plan B option requires the production and defense of a project. Students are required to complete 3 semester credits of thesis research (course). Successful defense and submission of the project to the library is required. Approval of academic forms required for master’s students by the School of Graduate Studies.

There are no Plan A or Plan C options for this program.

Earn a minimum grade of B in the following:

NOTE:

  1. course - 3 credits required

  2. course - Students should take the course - DR: Modern Research in MATH/STATS the first Fall semester.

  3. course - 3 credits required

In addition to the above listed required courses, students must one course from either Option 1 or Option 2,

Fulfill ANY of the following requirements:

A minimum grade of B is required.

  • At least 8 credits of additional MATH/STAT credit approved by their supervisory committee.

  • 9 credits of graduate credits outside of the MATH/STATS department approved by their supervisory committee.
