All courses require a grade of C or better except for course which requires a B or better.
Students are required to take and pass a national counselor certification exam to graduate with the Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling (MRC). Acceptable exams are the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) exam [preferred], the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NCMHC) exam [required for licensure as a mental health counselor in Utah], or the National Certified Counselor (NCC) exam. Students that do not pass a national counseling exam will be required to take a comprehensive exam through the MRC program to graduate.
