Statistics and Data Science - PhD

Students with a prior masters degree will take between 12-15 credits of course (repeatable for credit). Students without a prior masters degree will take between 18-21 credits of course (repeatable for credit).

Students must take at least 45 total credits (Masters) or 72 total credits (no Masters) numbered 5000-level or higher. This includes research credits but excludes course/course and course (Continuing Graduate Advisement). Students are required to complete suitable electives at the 5000-level or higher, as approved by their supervisory committee, to meet the total credit thresholds after accounting for the required courses. No more than 12 of these elective credits can be numbered 5000-5999 and no more than 3 (Masters) or 6 (no Masters) can be course (repeatable for credit).
