NOTE:

  1. course - Requires 100 hours in a K-12 public, private, or charter school.

  2. course - Requires 600 hours in a K-12 public, private or charter school. 6 credits are required.

  3. Starting with the Fall 2026 cohort, students will be required to complete 300 hours in Internship 1, and 300 hours in Internship 2. Check with the Graduate Program Coordinator for specific courses.

A passing score on the Professional School Counselor Praxis exam is required for graduation from the program. All students are required to take Praxis Exam 5422 and score 153 or higher to successfully complete the program and be recommended for licensure in the state of Utah.
