Completion requirement

Foundational Technical Requirement

Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:

Technical Foundation (30 credits)

Students must complete 30 articulated or advisor‑approved technical credits. These credits may come from a Utah Technical College certificate, a USU certificate of proficiency/completion, or equivalent coursework or training verified in consultation with an academic advisor. These credits usually represent the first year of the degree.

AND

Specialized Elective Credits (10 credits)

Students must complete 10 credits of lower-division electives to complement their certificate and general education coursework.

Course options vary by emphasis area. Students should consult with their academic advisor to select electives that align with their goals.

Required Core Courses (18 credits)

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

Required Capstone Experience (3 credits)

Complete ANY of the following Courses:

Enroll in 3 credits of course or course.

Emphasis Areas and Certificates (15 credits)

While not required, these emphases can be fulfilled by completing one of the following certificates or minors. Students must declare and be accepted into the certificate program or minor to have it reflected on their academic record.
