Program Learning Outcomes
1) Science fundamentals: Apply principles from geology, biology, ecology, chemistry and mathematics to understand Earth's diverse environments as interrelated systems.
2) Experiment: Apply field, lab and data-driven observations and quantitative approaches to interpret environments and processes within the Earth's critical zone and hydrologic systems.
3) Connect: Analyze and interpret general patterns in Earth's systems using geological records and recognize the natural and anthropogenic drivers of Earths' systems, including global climate change.
4) Communicate: Develop skills to communicate environmental geoscience concepts to a wide range of audiences through written, oral and graphical representation.
5) Teamwork: Collaborate with peers to characterize and address environmental problems using scientific expertise and input from stakeholders.
