Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:

Students must complete 30 articulated or advisor‑approved technical credits. These credits are most often earned through the Networking and Cybersecurity certificate offered at Utah Technical Colleges, which stacks into USU’s IT Support and Web Development AAS degrees and then into the Computer Technology TESY bachelor’s degree. Equivalent training may also be accepted with advisor approval.

The following courses are commonly included in the Networking and Cybersecurity certificate pathway.

Complete ALL of the following Courses:

Cybersecurity – (Prerequisites Courses include BCIS 1320, BCIS 2631,BCIS 2651 with a minimum grade of D)

Information and Computer Technology – (Prerequisites Courses include BCIS 1250, BCIS 1260, BCIS 1320, BCIS 1500, BCIS 1540, BCIS 2631, BCIS 2651 with minimum grade of D)

AND

Students must complete 10 credits from the following courses. For additional options, contact the academic advisor.

Earn at least 10 credits from the following:
Complete ALL of the following Courses:
Complete ANY of the following Courses:

Students are only required to take a minimum of 3 credits in either course or course.

Students complete 15 credits of upper‑division coursework in Computer Technology. Students will choose either the Cybersecurity Certificate or the Information and Computer Technology Certificate. Students must declare and be formally accepted into the certificate or minor for it to appear on their academic record.

Earn at least 15 credits from the following:

Cybersecurity - Certificate (Courses include in TESY 4760, TESY 4810, TESY 4820, TESY 4830, TESY 4840) 

Information and Computer Technology - Certificate (Courses include TESY 4730, TESY 4750, TESY 4760, TESY 4770, TESY 4850).
