About this Degree
The BS Degree is a 128-credit program designed to teach students principles and skills in various biological engineering areas, such as bioprocessing, biomedical, bioenvironmental, bioenergy, and biomanufacturing. Students will also gain hands-on experience from the in-class lab sessions and Senior Design project.

Admission to the Pre-Professional Program
New freshmen: Admitted to USU in Good Standing
Minimum 3.0 High School GPA, 23 ACT, 24 math ACT score and 73 Admission Index
Transfer students from other institutions or other programs at USU:
course completed with a C- or higher grade
GPA of 2.5 or higher in Pre-Professional courses
12 credits or more of Science, Engineering, and Math completed with a 2.5 or higher GPA
