About this Degree

The BS Degree is a 120-credit program designed to teach students principles and skills in various biological engineering areas, such as bioprocessing, biomedical, bioenvironmental, bioenergy, and biomanufacturing. Students will also gain hands-on experience from the in-class lab sessions and Senior Design project.

Admission Requirements for this Program

New Freshmen and Transfer Students (from other institutions or other USU programs)

  • Admitted to USU in Good Standing

New Freshmen:

  • 2.8 High School GPA or higher

  • 20 ACT or 1030 SAT or higher
