Program Requirements

This major requires an overall GPA of 3.0, as well as a 3.0 GPA in major requirements. Courses may not be taken for a pass/fail grade except those courses which are only taught pass/fail.

Communications Literacy Requirement


In addition to satisfying the basic Communications Literacy (CL) general education requirement, students in this major must receive a grade of C+ or better in either ENGL 1010  or ENGL 2010 

Preparation Anchor - ECE (15 credits)


Unless otherwise noted, these courses require a grade of B- or better for Licensure Lane Designation (LLD). Students not receiving these minimum grades will need to move to the Elementary Education program in the General Studies Lane Designation (GSLD).

Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Core (ECE/Birth to 5)


A grade of B- or better is required for those courses taken prior to Licensure Lane Designation (LLD) to receive LLD unless otherwise stated. A grade of B- or better is required for those courses taken after receiving LLD for LLD continuation unless otherwise stated.
